Imam Mahdi and Dajjal in the Dead Sea Scolls
This manuscript was published in Arabic online, and its publisher is unknown.
Write down what I envision, because what I envision is a revelation from God. He is a man who has prestige from eternity, and it is mentioned that he will save all nations to praise God’s holy name, and the heavens will rejoice when he ascends to them, and the Lord will grant him glory, and his name will be mentioned with the name of the Lord always and forever, and the earth will rejoice in his faithfulness, and everyone will call him the truthful, which is a sign for him, and he will truly prostrate to God.
And his companions are saints who seek
the kingdom of heaven, and the earth trembles under them, and they
will bring to the families of all nations the truth of heaven, which
is unlike any truth. Praise the Lord, because the Lord has blessed
all nations with the man of praise whose name is always mentioned
with the name of God.
He is the Messenger of God who praises the
Lord in everything, and the earth will witness his miracles. Pray to
the Lord that we may always see his face, because his name and signs
and the teachings of his mouth will be on all the earth.
And
I say unto you: as it was written in the law of Moses, he will have a
hard heart against those who deny the Lord, and he will be merciful
in his heart to those who love the Lord.
And give thanks to the
Lord, because he will be righteous, and he will be a mercy from God;
he is the prophet of praise who is written down in the law of the
Lord, which God has given to Israel.
Praise the Lord with all
his songs; preach from nation to nation and from kingdom to kingdom
that the light from above the heavens will shine from behind the
mountains of Ishmael.
O children of Israel, follow him,
and do not blaspheme God, and bring gifts, and come before him,
because he accepts the gift and does not accept charity.
And
his sons will be like him until the last times come. At that time,
the heavens and the trees on the earth will sing in the name of the
great man whose sword will be drawn and stretched out over Jerusalem,
and he will watch over it and make it a wonderful city.
And God
will send him a great angel in Megiddo to destroy it, and God will
not turn his hand until he despises Israel in the eyes of the
nations, and all nations will rise up against oppression, even the
stones and the trees, and the road to Zion will be gone forever.
And
at that time, a very small crowd in Israel will have an inheritance
from the Law of Moses, and they will keep the sickles for the time of
the false liar who will corrupt all nations and envy the earth for
the great light that will come to it.
So the liar will dry up
the earth and desolate homes, and the people will flee to the
wilderness. But the great man will fight him, and the earth will
be scorched and desolate, and distress and pain will seize it.
And
the liar will be afraid of the great man but very spiteful, and the
great man awaits the dweller of heaven, and the Lord's chosen one
assures him that the dweller of heaven will come, so he will hand him
the sword and spear.
And the sword was carried in the old days
by the glorifier of the Lord, the bearer of the banner of God's
praise, Lord of the earth and the sky.
And on the day when
swords will be drawn, and each sword will have a name in which there
is a secret from God.
It is a sign that an evil and immoral
generation will witness, because their children will present to God a
true sign with sincere strife.
On that day, the boys of
Jerusalem will be thirsting while their brothers are drinking, and
the wicked sinner will slay them while their brethren sing.
And
when people cry out of grief, the curse of God will come down on the
unjust, and the great man will come forth, and in his time the earth
will be blessed, and Jerusalem will rejoice.
