Imam Mahdi's Tailed Star, As Described in Al-Jafr: Al-Najm Al-Mudannab, the Star of Doom
This passage is from Al-Jafr Al-Ahmar (the Red Jafr):
When a day comes that Bismillah Al-Rahman Al-Raheem reaches its completion, then this is the day of Imam Mahdi’s appearance. On the day the dot of Al-Ba completes its cycle and reaches the core of its essence, the pledge of allegiance will take place.
The appearance of the Mahdi precedes the appearance of the star with an amazing tail. It will not be a star of two-thirds of one decade, nor a dusty star of two-thirds of one century, nor a star of every century. It will be the star of centuries. In its heart is fire, snow, and air. Its tail runs behind it with the speed of the sun’s light. As soon as dawn breaks, it returns to its end. It is like a great collar that will have a glow upon the people of injustice. At sunrise, it will go back to its orbit. After the appearance of the star, there will be great perdition and many deaths. The appearance of this star will be good for the people of righteousness and torment for the people of injustice and evil.
