Imam Mahdi and the last times in the Apocalypse of Harash bin Shams Al-Din Al-Kamil

This manuscript is by a scholar of Medina who lived in the seventh century AH, named Al-Harash bin Shams Al-Din Al-Kamil.

On the day of the Mahdi's emergence, there will be blazing fire and subsidence. The lord of the house will wage war against the wicked who plot with the utmost deceit and rule with injustice. The birds will curse those who do wrong and ally with the Jews, and Allah will burn them and command the earth to swallow up an army that will march towards Mecca across the desert.

The Mahdi will emerge and will seek refuge only in God, and the head that plots against the Mahdi will not escape divine punishment. Corruption and disbelief will be rampant at his emergence, and every Muslim who goes to perform Hajj for Allah's sake will find obstacles, and evil people will disrespect the rituals of Hajj. 

Princes will be humiliated, and Hajj will be stopped, and water, which is the secret of life, will be bought and sold, and the Jews will dominate and have supremacy in the time of the final promise.  Allah will not let down Muslims, but He tests and afflicts, and He covers evil with goodness, and the best are those who submit to Allah.

A caliph will die as a martyr, and a king will succeed him. A blazing fire will burn in the entire peninsula except Mecca, may Allah protect it, and Medina, and the birds will curse the arrogant and corrupt tyrants who will cause punishment and chastisement from Allah, and the army that will go towards Mecca will be swallowed by the earth with all the soldiers. Allah will honor the Mahdi of the Muslim nation with victory, for He gives victory to those who embrace Islam and who are truthful.

In the same manuscript, a hadith was reported on the authority of Abu Hurairah, which reads as follows:
"An army will go out intending to conquer Mecca, and a boy from the family of the Messenger Muhammad (Alayhi Alsalatu Wa Salam) will have control over the Haram, and people will travel to Mecca, and the fire of Hijaz will rage, and every bird will curse the oppressors and die, and Allah will destroy the entire army of the desert, and the Muslims will be resurrected according to their intentions, and there will be a universal war in which Allah will grant victory to the Mahdi, and Allah will establish the truth with His words and invalidate falsehood. And declare, “The truth has come and falsehood has vanished. Indeed, falsehood is bound to vanish.”

This is another hadith that was reported on the authority of Abu Hurairah in the same manuscript, and it reads as follows:
"Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, said, “I have a secret concerning all Muslims that I wish to keep, were it not for the inspiration to announce it!!” It was said, “What is it?” He said, “A boy from among us, the family of the Prophet (Alayhi Alsalatu Wa Alsalam), will rule the world like Dhul-Qarnayn, and he will be given the means to all means; he is meant to rule all the world, and no one can block the command of Allah.” He said: “This is the knowledge of the Hour, and he will emerge at the end of time and rule the world in a few months or a few years.”
